Nonviolent Masculinity Workshop – Gender Equality

Have you ever thought about the “boxes” we are confined to by gender roles?

In this workshop, we’ll draw those boxes and then break free from them!

This workshop invites participants to reflect on the learned aspects of gender and question how the connection between "masculinity" and violence is constructed.

• What does it mean to "act like a man" and "act like a woman"?
• Where do these expectations come from, and who reinforces them?
• What happens if we step outside the box?

Throughout the workshop, we will explore ways to question and transform stereotypical gender norms through interactive group activities and discussions.
