Recipients of the First “Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship” Met Köseoğlu Family and Friends at Auditorium Opening Ceremony

The Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship has been established to honor the late Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu, who passed away in 2022, and her dedication to advancing women in our society. Inaugurated during the 2024-2025 Academic Year, the program is designed to support female undergraduate students at Özyeğin University who participate in international exchanges, internships, and short-term programs. 300 female students are expected to be funded by this program in 15 years. Subsequent to the establishment of this program, the auditorium in the Academic Building 3 on Çekmeköy campus has been named after Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu.

Held on April 8, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu Auditorium brought together the Köseoğlu family, Members of the Özyeğin University Community, the first recipients of the Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship, and our stakeholders. The ceremony commenced with an opening speech by Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan. Following a video tribute to Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu, her husband Ata Köseoğlu and her son Cem Köseoğlu took to the stage and talked about the late Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu and her legacy. The recipients of the Inaugural Zeynep Alp Köseoğlu International Student Exchange Programs Scholarship shared their feelings and thoughts with the Köseoğlu family and guests.
