Assistant Professor Ezgi Elçi Honored with the 2025 Science Academy’s Young Scientists Award (BAGEP)

Assistant Prof. Ezgi Elçi from the Department of International Relations at Özyeğin University has been named one of the young scientists to receive the 2025 Science Academy’s Young Scientists Award. Dr. Ezgi Elçi was honored with the prestigious Young Scientists Award in recognition of his contributions to the scientific developments in the political science discipline.

The 2025 Science Academy’s Young Scientists Awards will be presented to the recipients at an award ceremony at Özyeğin University Çekmeköy Campus on April 26, 2025.

The Science Academy was established in Istanbul, Türkiye in 2011 as a non-governmental organization to promote, practice, and uphold the principles of scientific merit, freedom, and integrity. The academy brings together the most accomplished scientists in Türkiye in order to promote and preserve scientific excellence. The Young Scientists Award Program was initiated by the Science Academy in 2013 to showcase and reward distinguished accomplishments in these areas. To that end, the program annually rewards exceptional young scientists across 39 disciplines after a meticulous review process.
