PhD Candidate Zafer Gürel’s EdTech Startups Acquired by Constructor Tech

Advancity and Perculus, two education technology startups co-founded by Computer Science PhD candidate Zafer Gürel at Özyeğin University have been acquired by Constructor Tech, a Switzerland-based technology company with offices in seven countries.

Pursuing his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Ali Cengiz Beğen from the Computer Science Department, Zafer Gürel will continue to lead his ventures under the umbrella of Constructor Tech. The company and its team will remain headquartered in Türkiye.
