The Opening Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Held at Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center by the Higher Education Council of Türkiye

The “2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony,” organized by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), was held on October 8, 2024, at the National Congress and Culture Center within the Presidential Complex, with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in attendance. The ceremony drew a distinguished audience, including President Erdoğan, Higher Education Council President Prof. Erol Özvar, senior government officials, and ministers, as well as CoHe members, institutional leaders, ambassadors, university presidents, academics, and students, marking a significant gathering for the start of the new academic year.

Representing Özyeğin University at the ceremony, Prof. A. Tanju Erdem, Vice President for Academic Affairs, was accompanied by our esteemed faculty members Associate Prof. Handan Borluk, Assistant Prof. Göktürk Poyrazoğlu, Assistant Prof. Yiğit Can Altan along with our students Kaan Dereli, Süreyya Göktuğ Gökbulut, Rana Gümüş, and Arzu Nalbant.
