Assistant Professor Metin Çavuş’s Documentary “reBuilding Palanga” Shown as the Opening Film at the Izmir International Documentary Festival

The documentary reBuilding Palanga, directed by Assistant Professor Metin Çavuş, Chair of the Communication and Design Program at Özyeğin University, was shown as the “opening film” at the 3rd Izmir International Documentary Festival (İZDOC). The screening took place on January 25, 2025, at the French Cultural Center in İzmir, Türkiye with a post-screening question and answer session.

Assistant Professor Çavuş’s feature-length documentary, reBUILDING PALANGA, which runs for 66 minutes, tells the story of an artist-director who combines architecture and art to establish a farm on his ancestral lands in the east of Türkiye.
